These double sheathed, foam core wall panels are processed off-site, and then assembled like lego in a fraction of the time at the job location. For sheathing, common materials include a variety of cementitious boards, magnesium boards, oriented strand board (OSB), plywood, and even metal.
The fault in the SIP structure design lies in the lack of care given to the plates (the horizontal lengths that run under the bottom and on top of the panels) and splines (the vertical connections between panels). Because there is a lack of vapor barrier at these vulnerable intersections, energy and moisture transference is inevitable. The result is mold formation, leaking and cracking. Knowing this, Hulks SIP System is designed to tackle these joints from inside out, eliminating the problems, and brings these structures close to zero energy loss (NET 0).

Hulk MBS® is 30% solids, solvent based, clear coat sealer.
Hulk
MBS® contains no oil and no acetate, and leaves behind no VOC bi-product after
the solvent has off-gassed. Hulk MBS® is formulated to penetrate both cementitious
and magnesium board substrates, leaving behind a protective polymer film that
prevents chloride and water intrusion.

Hulk Mastic
HS (Hulk System) Mastic, is our sun-safe, rubberized compound, that extends much
further, and sets up much faster then traditional tar / fiber glass mastics.
HS Mastic is white, and is typically used to fill voids, cracks, tie holes, tie back anchors, and around shoring piles and other protrusions and penetrations. HS Mastic is cold-applied, and can be installed with a brush, putty knife, or mechanically by caulking gun.

Hulk WP
Hulk WP® is a cold-applied, single component, fire-resistant
elastomeric membrane used for waterproofing.
Unlike many other waterproofing products, the coating is sun-safe and maintains peak performance in extreme temperatures. Almost zero splash-back and waste occurs during applications. Hulk WP® is formulated to provide ultimate hang strength when curing to 40 mils. Hulk WP® withstands UV, acid rain, salts, acidic soil, bacteria and is non-corrosive on foam.

Hulk SRT® is a structurally reinforcing textile, made of quartz
resin infused fiberglass, which has higher tensile strength/volumetric mass than
steel.
When immersed in Hulk WP®, the combination forms a seamless cast of

even when experiencing high temperature and humidity fluctuations.
