Trevor has been the driving force at Treval Foundation Spray in Calgary. Owner and head of operations, he has been involved in the building of thousands of residential homes and hundreds of commercial projects. Taking a love of business development, architecture, and design and applying it to an area that is often overlooked… foundation protection. After years of working with every product available in the market, he wanted to work with inspired people to create a better solution.

Every structure needs some form of protection. Learn from the start what works for each situation so that you are not over under-protecting the project. Until the necessary experience is gained it is best to listen to those who have come before and learn what products works for the problem. More importantly, learn the correct installation methods so you can replicate every time you protect a home.

The first product I worked with in this business was a tar damp-proofing. Basically, a modified version of road asphalt. It was incredibly nasty stuff to work with and barely offered any protection to a foundation. Now we have a product where the installer no longer needs coveralls, a face hood or respiratory spray. Being able to move to a cleaner and stronger product means the world to me and seeing the recent innovations in coating is exciting to say the least. I cannot wait to see what comes next.
